Prepare and review monthly budget to actual variances and cash flow sources and uses of funds and ensure compliance with approved budgets; Analyze daily recording of revenue and expenditures for correct account classification in accordance with guidelines, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements; Review all financial transactions entered in the general and subsidiary ledgers ensuring that all costs (labor, materials, overhead, and costs) are completely and accurately recorded in the company’s accounting system; Record daily business transactions and prepare billing statements to customers and clients; Prepare costing of products; Review and summarizes business reports; Make financial recommendations to management; Responsible for budget control; monitor and facilitate various payments to suppliers, vendors, and process payments; Review and analyze monthly operating reports on activities and resources in support of compiled daily revenues and expenditures, aging reports for receivables and payables and profit and loss accounts; Review and summarize business reports and all documents based on results of analytics review; Investigate causes of variances and prepare report for management information; Prepare periodic tax filings (monthly gross receipt tax, corporate income tax returns, FICA, and EWR quarterly reports); Compute and prepare bi-weekly or semi-monthly payrolls for employees; Interact management decisions, particularly involving financial decisions to improve business operations; Monitor on a regular basis the status of inventory stocks on hand with purchasing officer regarding propriety of actual charges; Implement strict adherence to established internal control systems and procedures; prepare yearly financial statements (balance sheets and income statements); and Perform such other related duties as may be assigned.
